Lehenga
This pink lehenga would fit an individual who is usually a size 6. But we have extra fabric (in panels from the skirt) from the lehenga if you would like to make another blouse, or add that panel to the lehenga to make it bigger. The blouse, lehenga skirt and dupatta have gold embroidery on it. Originally it was bought for $600.00.
Slight fraying at the bottom of the skirt, however it is not noticeable at all.
Happy to ship this outfit to you (extra charge) or you have the option to pick it up. We are based in East Auckland.

Returns & Hiring Period
Returns
You the customer, or a person instructed by you, must return the garment within 24 hours of the end of the agreed hire period specified in your confirmation email, and communicate the intention to post within 24 hours of your event ending. This delivery bag may be handed to any New Zealand Post Shop.
Return Packaging
You will return the garment in its original packaging including the dress, dress bag, box, coat hanger and any accessories provided in which it was delivered to you and packed safely to secure the garment from damage and undue creasing.
Late Returns
We retain the right to charge penalties to cover the loss we sustain due to late returns. There will be a penalty of $10.00 per garment per day for late returns up to 5 days from the end of the agreed hire period and will be deducted from the bond. Thereafter, we may charge up to the retail price of the garment as compensation for liquidated damages and financial losses. If you are or foresee that you may be unable to return your package within 24 hours, please get in touch as soon as possible at info@desipalnz.com
Exclusive Rentals:
Desi Pal NZ has the right to charge additional costs if an item is returned with damange beyond reasonable standards. Desi Pal considers damage as things that effect the wear or usability of any outfit or jewelry or which requires specialized cleaning or repairs. Desi Pal NZ will charge a price to cover costs for replacement/repair as well as lost revenue for time taken to replace/repair and also additional time needed to accommodate replacements/repairs by Desi Pal NZ as a business.
Desi Pal NZ does not allow customers to source repairs due to inability to track the quality and reliability of the repair.
Desi Pal Marketplace:
You are protected whenever you make any purchase on Desi Pal NZ. We will give you a full refund if your item never ships or does not match the listing description. Otherwise, all sales are final. It is free to list with Desi Pal NZ however when you make a successful sale, a surcharge of 10% will be taken by Desi Pal NZ. This will be automatically processed when the payment from customer to Seller is transferred.
If your item hasn’t been received - we have you covered:
Tracked items: sellers add a tracking number from a compatible courier service to their sales. When an item has been tracked - we don't release payment to the seller until the item has been marked as “Delivered”, and you have had 24 hours to inspect the item to make sure it matches the listing description. You have 24 hours to inform us if the item has been misrepresented by Opening a Dispute.
What is covered
When your item is different from the listing description
If any of the following pertain to your order - we recommend you Open a Dispute immediately:
- Incorrect or missing item/s
- Undisclosed damage
- Item not as described
If no claim is made within 24 hours of delivery, your payment will be automatically released to the seller. Once payment has been released, all sales are final and no refunds are able to be provided.
If you choose to return your item, you must do so within 5 days of approval to be eligible for a refund.
Disclaimer: Desi Pal is a marketplace for used/pre loved clothing, and while it is fair and reasonable to expect that your item is consistent with the listing description - it is also important to thoroughly read the listing description and ask any questions if you have any. In the interest of fairness to both Buyers and Sellers - it is at Desi Pal’s sole discretion to issue a full or partial refund for any dispute pertaining to consistency with the listing description.
What is not covered
It’s important to note that Desi Pal NZ does not cover instances where the item doesn’t quite fit you/just not your style/you changed your mind. You can always re-list the item on Desi Pal nz!
Trading off the platform
Desi Pal does not cover or recommend trades or transactions completed off of the Desi Pal website. When payment for the full value of items is not made via the Desi Pal website, we are unable to guarantee that both parties will ship and transact as promised. You accept all risks associated with any such transactions.

The onus/obligation is on the client to check these terms and conditions before every purchase as they may change over time.
2.Online Store General Terms

3.Refusal of service
(a)We reserve the right to refuse service to any person at any time unless contractually obliged.
(b)We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. Desi Pal NZ has the sole discretion to cancel, or limit the quantities purchased per person or per household. This restriction may include orders under the same account, the same credit card or others of the same address. We reserve the right to limit our services by our sole judgement.
4.General Expectations
(a)The images that are depicted on the website displays the garment fitted to a model or mannequin. Our products may not fit you the way that it seems on the site. Please ensure to arrange a fitting or postal try-on before you have placed your order to avoid disappointment due to incorrect expectations.
(b) If you receive any of our garments that have visible damage, are the wrong size or do not match our website description please contact us immediately.
(c)On the rental of a garment, you agree to treat the garment with care and understand that you are liable for any extra repairs or extra cleaning by us that may arise due to mistreatment of the garment.
(d)If you alter or customize the garment in any way you will be expected to incur the costs of this as it will be treated as damage.
(e)You will be liable for the damage incurred by attempting to wash the garment. Do not attempt to clean the garment.
- Payment
(a)A full deposit must be paid to secure your booking only then will the process begin. All payments must be made via bank transfer, cash or through the website payment system, all other forms of payment will not be accepted.
- Returns and hiring period
(a)You the customer, or a person instructed by you, must return the garment within 4 days of your event date which is considered the end of the agreed hire period specified in your confirmation email, and communicate intention to post within 24 hours of your event date. This delivery bag must be handled by NZ Post, You may not use any other delivery service.
(b)You will return the garment in its original packaging including the outfit, outfit bag, box, coat hanger and any accessories provided in which it was delivered to you and packed safely to secure the garment from damage and undue creasing.

- Cancellations and Refunds
(a) If you cancel your order that will incur a $10 cancelation fee. However if Desi Pal NZ has processed the order, you will be unable to cancel the order as the shipping process has begun. This process is defined as customizing, altering and/or processing the garment.
(b)Refunds shall be decided on a case by case basis.
- Acceptance & Availability
(a) Once you place your order, you will receive an acknowledgement of your order via email and that is when a binding obligation will exist.
- Accuracy of billing and account information
(a)You agree to provide correct billing, address and account information for all purchases made on our website. In addition, you agree to attempt to update these as often as reasonably anticipated along with other information including email addresses, credit card numbers and expiration dates. This is so we can complete the transactions with little error of communication and postage. We are not liable for delays in shipping or redirecting shipping due to change of billing and account information.
- Damages and penalties
(a) General cleaning is included in the hire price. This is for minor stains and minor damages such as a zip break. Any additional damages or stains may incur further costs to repair. Additional charges may also include any further costs we sustain whilst we wait for the garment to be replaced subject to a maximum sum representing 250% of the hire price of the garment.
- Website terms of Service: Limitation of Liability
(a)We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. We do not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable.
(b)We reserve the right to remove the service for indefinite periods of time. We additionally reserve the right to remove the service at any time, without notice to you. You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk.
(c)In no case shall Desi Pal NZ, or our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility. Because some states or jurisdiction do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdiction, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- Governing law
(a)These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
- Photography and Social Media
(a)You accept that Desi Pal NZ will request explicit permission from the client to use images of the client for their website and social media. You accept Desi Pal may take photos of the client in the garment at all fittings for personal record keeping.
(b)The client can request their images not be used online at any time. If you feel uncomfortable with the use of your images for online purposes, please communicate this to Desi Pal NZ.
